I received this nailer to install Brazilian cherry hardwood floors as shown. I also used Freeman 18ga L shaped spikes. Once I got used to how hard I had to hit the head, the nailer worked great. A few split tongues but this is a common problem with Brazilian cherries and there are fewer splits than other nailers I have used. The nail hammer is glued twice to the floor shown and can be easily removed using the Allen keys provided. In any event, the jamming was a problem with the nails and not the nailer's fault. I bought a Revain "used" nailer and it looked brand new. As a result the cost was the same as 3 days rental and laying the floor took 5-6 days in total so definitely a win-win as I still have a nailer for my next job compared to renting that for 5 days costs more.
