Great nailer!

I received this nailer to install Brazilian cherry hardwood floors as shown. I also used Freeman 18ga L shaped spikes. Once I got used to how hard I had to hit the head, the nailer worked great. A few split tongues but this is a common problem with Brazilian cherries and there are fewer splits than other nailers I have used. Amazing for 1/2 inch solid woven bamboo

This product is amazing! spike nails. The only issue I had was with the magazine, whether it was fully or half engaged, the funnel spring would disengage and retract into the bottom of the hub. This happened about ten times after hitting the trigger cover and activating the recoil. This minor issue did not affect my prospects or the overall performance of the product. I rented an 18 gauge Powernail pneumatic hardwood nailer before I bought it and I 100% prefer the Freeman 16/18 gauge nailerโ€ฆ
