Compared with Leuchtturm

For the past 4 years I have been using Leuchtturm Bullet Journals (I prefer the Dotted Journal). I use my journals for professional/personal activities, but I use a separate journal for personal thoughts and ideas. I needed a new personal journal so I bought this Lemome magazine. I decided to share some of the differences and why I really like this magazine for personal use but lighthouse for business use. The Lighthouse is the perfect journal for me because I need it for list management, calendar reminders, and notes on ideas and market events. I also use it for private "businesses" such as B. Calls to utility companies or handymen. The paper weight is lighter than the Lemome, which I think is better for everyday use. Pages are easier to flip through, which I often do when going back and forth between lists and notes. Leuchturrm double-sided marking tapes are essential for business use. I keep long-term lists and credentials for one of them and the other for current bookmarks. Another must for me is that page numbers are already printed on each page, which is in all the Lighthouse magazines but not in Lemome. Finally, the Lighthouse is thinner than the Lemome (1/2" vs. 13/16"), which also makes it easier to carry, especially if you have other documents in tow. I find Lemome perfect for personal use. because it has heavy paper of light yellow color with light lines (but no page numbers). This type of paper is great for the occasional writing and drawing, which I do when jotting down notes on ideas or projects. The best thing about the Lemome is that it lies really flat. The sewn strong binding allows me to lay the magazine completely on two open pages. I can draw larger shapes on both sides with Lemome, which I can't do with Leuchturrm. The lighthouse lies fairly flat, but there is a bulge where the pages come together (like a book). The lighthouse lies flat on its sides with no bulges. The lighthouse also has a thick hard cover with an elastic pen loop. Again, two things are perfect for personal use, but not what I need for business use. I like the thinner, lighter lighthouse for work as I carry it around a lot, but prefer the heavy Lemome case and handy pen loop for jotting down personal thoughts (which are usually sporadic). A tape for marking pages is enough for me for private use. However, they are very different, so choose the one that suits your needs. Lighthouse: lighter paper, cover and binding. Has double volumes and numbered pages. Thinner.Lemome: Heavier paper, cover, and total weight. Strong, flat binding and elastic pen loop. fat.
