I used to have a D-Link AC-1000 and struggled to get fast internet when I was near a router and there was no connection at the other end of my small 650 square meter. ft. I also bought a D-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender to try and get a WIFI connection on the opposite side of my apartment from the AC-1000 router. Finally my AC-1000 fell to the ground for the last time and stopped working. So I bought this one, a D-Link AC-1750, and my range extender is no longer needed. Now I have a very fast connection. I didn't run a speed test, but my connection is faster than I'd like. I was lucky enough to have a cheap fiber optic connection. That's cool.
