Review on LIUMY Professional Automatic Oscilloscope Multimeter: The Ultimate Precision Measurement Tool by Chris Horton

It has a use, but not the cat's meow of meters

I would have gotten the prize by a happy coincidence, but I decided to try my luck with it anyway. I wanted a quick and dirty way to visually detect noise in DC links. Just grab something and go to the field. It really is like that. But it has multiple functions. It has an auto-ranging function 4-40-400 volts. Which sometimes doesn't work. He will show OL. and take a second to understand things. but sometimes it just beeps and says OL even if the voltage isn't really that high. Setting the range manually didn't seem to work either, still saying OL. Release and Retest seems to clarify this. but this is not good. But where else do you get a portable oscilloscope. So quite a bit. Nice to see the large color display. but it's not cool to try to read it in sunlight. it is important for me. It has an audio continuity feature. However, you must press the function keys to put it in this mode. Resistance/capacitance/diode functions work. Current not tried. but I usually terminate this with my own external shunt. I'm not relying on a shunt in the meter itself, as you often blow a fuse (this is true for any meter). It turns off if you leave it in standby mode. it also beeps beforehand. what is good. So if you just want a cheap portable oscilloscope. And if you do something on the bench, you have time to play around with it. At least he has a good set of leads. Then I think it's ok for that. But if you rely on the gauge in the field in all conditions. require a quick reading from the display. It's not like this.

Pros
  • Check, measure and check
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
