The Kensington MicroSaver retractable lock is a great device for people who don't like big, bulky pseudo-bike-type laptop locks. The device is durable, lightweight and portable. The device fits in the palm of my hand. The unit comes with a retractable 4-foot steel cable. By pressing the button, the steel cable is drawn back into the device. I trust this lock because it is made by a well known company. I don't understand why the most common complaint about this model/lock is that the steel cable is so thin. To me, any laptop lock can be cut with bolt cutters. I don't see people in cafes, libraries, airports or colleges walking around with bolt cutters. You? What people don't realize is that a laptop lock is a deterrent and no laptop lock is 100% theft proof. If you are looking for a durable, lightweight, and portable lock for your laptop, I highly recommend this product. This will help you relax when you step away from your laptop in a public place.
