The TP LINK WA850RE extender is really a solution when you need to improve your Wi-Fi signal. My personal experience was that I needed to extend the signal to reach 30 meters away from the main Router of my apartment to the basement and so the desktop computer works with Wi - Fi, so I followed all the steps for the installation via Wi -Fi which I did through the Tether app, which I downloaded from the Google Play Store, the configuration process with the App was easy although at first I could not finish configuring the Wi-Fi extender, because it was not resetting my device correctly router, so i chose the network cable installation, i followed the steps, but i couldn't get the extender to recognize the Wi - Fi network, because i didn't understand part of the process, the network cable installation system seemed like a more process to me complicated, finally with the network key configuration I couldn't do it so I went back to the Wi-Fi installation system and in the end I did it, I did all this installation by placing the extender connected to the electrical network ca very close to my Router to get a better Wi-Fi signal, during setup, after that the Wi-Fi signal challenge will reach my basement so I then placed the Extender outside a window in my apartment, as close to my basement, so I would get the signal to have more intensity, then on the side of my computer in the basement the signal was very weak, I only had a Wi-Fi signal line, and internet browsing was very slow, that's why I decided place a USB cable to also extend my Usb stick Wi - Fi also of the TP Link brand, so I could also place it outside the basement window, this helped to improve the Wi - Fi signal up to 3 lines, so in this way the navigation was faster, Perhaps the problem that I have had with the extender so far is that when I turn on the computer and having connected my Wi-Fi Extender, it does not register the signal on the first try, so I must press the button on the extender that has the figure of a small padlock and so the computer connects to the Wi-Fi network, the other aspect is that as I described before, if the computer's USB Wi-Fi stick was not extended, the signal would really be very weak, so I think there are many walls in between and the distance is greater than 25 meters and you only have a USB stick Wi-Fi on your computer, the signal would not be strong enough to navigate normally, my recommendation is to buy a usb cable to extend the USB stick Wi-Fi so that it reaches the nearest window and protect it from moisture. finally what can I say TP LINK WA850RE Extender worked for me and my rating is 4 stars.
