Does the job but falls apart so don't grab your hand.
This doorstop does a good job of protecting the corner of the mat from the wind on windy days and keeping the door open well, although it does shift slightly under the weight of the door. I'm only giving 3 stars for the fact that after only lifting it a few times, one side of the rope handle popped out and started to loosen. It was placed and glued in about an inch knot at the time of manufacture, so it's not meant to last forever, especially given the $30+ price tag.
