So I just opened it up and I like that. It's definitely heavy duty and has a nice solid cast iron weight. Very easy to assemble, all I had to do was tighten a couple of wing nuts. What I don't like and you can see in my photos is that it's uneven. It closes tightly on the hinge side and leaves a variable gap on the handle side. The handle doesn't go up flush like the old one I use. Maybe it has something to do with the release? If you don't mind your tortillas being crooked, then this is a good option. If they fixed this problem it would be a great item and I would buy them for my daughters and sister. I'll try it and see if it really makes that much of a difference. I will update my review later.
