I filled the container with milk until the "foaming element" was completely covered, used the milk, which I always use in my other frothers for hard froth, but with this frother I got hot milk and no froth. It doesn't matter if the element/whisk is 100% submerged or 300-400% submerged. It just didn't produce any foam, and I don't run a machine that 1. requires the amount of milk needed to make 5 lattes, and 2. the beeping sound is unrealistic, migraine-inducing, and doesn't make sense - why do eardrums burst when turned on the machine? You're obviously standing next to the car and you know you're turning it on. Why a Noise Level 10 that reminds you what you're doing in real time? I do not understand. The noise alone is the reason I'm bringing it back, the fact that it doesn't work is another good reason. The third reason is that the surfaces pick up every speck of dust in the kitchen and I have black appliances and countertops and although these surfaces look almost the same they don't pick up dust like this machine. I wipe it clean, and it's covered with dust and stains, impossible to keep clean. Too much hassle and too many problems.
