I have been wearing cargo pants for years. It started with my job at the warehouse where I needed pants that were tough, with rip-stop fabric. Then I started wearing them for casual days when hanging out with friends or even as slacks when going out for non-formal dinners. It's amazing how this type of pants can serve many different purposes.I am own many heavyweight cargo pants that cost about twice the price of these. So, it was nice to receive a pair of pants that were different than what I generally wore. My first impression was that the material was noticeably thinner. However, after wearing these for a few days, I have really come to appreciate the lightweight fabric.These are very handsome pants. With my size at 32, these fit perfectly with a snug but acceptable waist fit. If there was an issue with the sizing, there is an adjustable strap to loosen or tighten the waistline. While the pants feel roomy in the seat and thighs, they don't become baggy. These pretty much hug my body like dress pants and the polyester/cotton blend feels soft against my body. The seams appear strong and despite these pants being labeled as "lightweight" they seem to be quite durable and built to last.As with most all cargo pants, there are an array of pockets at waist and leg level to store gear. While writing this review I grabbed the largest personal item I had in reach which was my iPhone 12 Max. It not only fit comfortably in the knee pocket(s) with velcro flap but, remarkably, in the waist side pockets as well. If you have any idea how large that phone is, you would realize these pockets must have ample room for storage.For the price, these pants are quite remarkable in build quality and unrestrictive movement. They really fall into the perfect categories of work and casual wear. I am extremely happy with my new pants and would not hesitate to recommend them.
