Review on 🌡️ Fluke Infrared Thermometer with Expansive Degree Range by Dipp Samrock

Good overall package. IR measurements are fast and accurate. If this is your main application, you can use this device. The supplied K-type thermocouple (KTC) is, in a word, horrible. Since VERY inaccurate readings are possible, you must be very careful to wrap it very tightly. For example, by reading the temperature on my boiler, he wanted to tell me that the hot water coming out of my boiler was 125 degrees. When the boiler temp read 180 and touched the pipe I can tell you it's MUCH more than 125. Repositioning and re-tightening the velcro slowly got a reading of 170, which I might be able to believe. If you buy this unit and really need KTC, I would change my mind. and if you're not sure if I'm speaking correctly, check out Fluke Velcro's KTC Accessory Reviews here on Revain. I gave up and spent an extra $160 for a KTC tube clamp to use with this unit and got great reviews. Too bad Fluke included such a crappy KTC.
