Review on Nikon Z6 Mirrorless Camera with Nikkor 24-70mm Lens, 64GB XQD Card and Photography Accessories Bundle (5 Items) by Truong Anh Quan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

The very first thing I liked was ergonomics, before that I shot it on an amateur d5200, which I also liked, but with the Z6 you immediately feel the transition to a new level. Well, first of all, I didn’t want to retrain to the logic of other manufacturers. Still, while the new Nikon system does not look as convincing as Sony, but it has excellent ergonomics, a clear menu, and for a Nikonian, everything is in its place. But the prospect of video capabilities is very good. We are waiting for ates that will expand the capabilities of the camera.

Pros
  • 1. Ergonomics. Lies in the hand just fine 2. Stabilization. Of course, this does not surprise anyone now, but it helps a lot in working with optics without a stabilizer, and even with old manual optics, you just need to specify the characteristics of the lens and you're done. 3. Video quality. 4k flat profile, even on the map, everything is quite worthy. Autofocus works decently, although it must be admitted that sometimes it’s not very fast (but here it’s more likely that you need to twist the settings). 4. Compatibility with F-mount optics (more on exceptions) 5. High working ISO, up to 12800, although it is better not to bully so high. 6. Work with manual optics. Want to get a "vintage" picture? Take an adapter for the M42 thread and create, it is convenient to work with such optics on the Z6. 7. Image quality. Well, no comment here - expectedly high.
Cons
  • 1. XQD: Expensive and limited choice. No support ate yet (as of 12/09/2022) 2. Incorrect work with third-party optics with F mount, my favorite Tamron 24-70 f2.8 of the first version did not work very smoothly with the camera. (including why I took a whale from 24-70) 3. Closed system. Most likely, do not wait for third-party autofocus optics for a new mount. 4. The impossibility of continuous power supply from power banks. Charging via type-c is a very long process. So I advise you to immediately take 1-2 additional batteries.
