Love the finished product and give it 5 stars. But if you have hurricane aspirations on the back of your door, it's a time-consuming and tedious job. I thought I should start by removing all the braces, bad idea. With two of them the door springs were too strong and the door wouldn't move. So the idea was to do one horizontal section at a time and reset the bracket before starting the next one. That in itself wasn't a big deal, the difficulty arose trying to determine where the holes for the struts were. It was awkward to slide something through the back of the door panel, hold the item up, and then poke a hole in it to line up the Hurricane's mounts. It took 2-3 hours to create a panel. See I did most of the work myself and I'm well into my 60s. I used a series of ropes to keep the product at the right height. It worked fine, but unless you have a mechanical background it would be almost impossible to line everything up and get those brackets in place. My door is 18ft wide so we are talking about an 18ft shackle with lots of posts. She's done, I love the end result but I would consider another product before taking it up again.
