Review on ๐Ÿงค PROMEDIX P Nitrile Gloves Disposable - 3 Mil, 100pcs Latex Free Food Gloves for Home Kitchen - Disposable Gloves by Barb Bosch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good, 2.7 mil, lasts longer than drugstore brands

These are good nitrile gloves. I use them for draining oil in cars and when I need to use harsh solvents or cleaning products. They measure 2.7 mils (0.0027 inches/0.07mm), which is close enough to the 3 mils advertised for me. At 20 cents each, you'll have to estimate the cost yourself. It seems a bit high but after -covid that's to be expected. I used to wear Target blue nitrile gloves and had trouble getting them to even bond. They are 2.0 mils (0.002 in/0.05 mm) thick, which may explain their lower durability. Also, the Target seemed to have a subtle odor that was stronger when exposed to your hands' natural sweat, which they don't. I suspect that means they will irritate my skin less, or so I hope. Interestingly, for a box of 50, Target gloves cost about half as much, so cost about the same. I use much heavier 5 mil black nitrile gloves when I really need to work with gloves. These thinner ones I only use for chemical work or draining the oil and filter out of the car (usually just the right side) and then let go. available brands.
