I love Tuffy toys, as they can usually stand up to the rough housing of my two dogs (a chocolate lab and a formosan mountain dog), but this toy was less durable than other Tuffy toys. The material for the head and feet is different than the rest of the body, and my dogs found this a perfect way to get to stuffing easily. Less than 24 hours out of the box the toy was decimated.This is the only Tuffy toy where this has been a problem. We also have the shark and the stegosaurus, where the shark has lasted over four months now, and the stegosaurus is going on a month with minimal damage.If your dogs need a Tuffy toy, pick one of their other options.
