This only works if you buy the pen separately. The subject line of the email is "with a pen" which is very misleading. Now that I've spent more than I expected from its functionality. There are a lot of wires in the kit and when connected to the tailgate lock (in my case the tailgate already has a lock) I can lock and unlock my light with the same Ford remote. If you have a visor you will most likely need a pen which is sold separately.I would give a better rating but hate the misleading subject line. Yes, it worked fine. Loud clicking when locking and unlocking makes you wonder how long it will last
