Review on πŸ’§ Enhanced GE WD15X10011 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve by Rodney Mendoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

OEM part at 1/3 the price of most retailers

Genuine GE part in GE packaging Priced at 1/3 of what you would pay at your local appliance repair shop or supermarket. vary by model. It's not difficult, but does require some elbow lubrication in tight spaces. The hardest part was putting the pliers on the spring clip that held the rubber hose. Just not enough room to work and not enough hose to pull it out to work on it. What to remember. You need a corner bracket from an old part. When you remove it, remove all of the old teflon and wrap about 3 new teflon tapes around the threads. Tighten this suction cup fairly tightly to avoid leaks and make sure the elbow ends are in a good place to connect the water line. You don't want to pull it back once you tighten it. Put the angle bracket on before installing the new valve, it's much easier. As already mentioned, there is a problem. 2 threaded mounting holes are unthreaded. Do yourself a favor and pre-cut before installation. You can use screws that came loose from the old part, or you can hammer them in if you have the right thread size.
