Review on Optimized Cloud-9 Cruiser Contour Suspension Saddle by Tanner Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This seat really looks like a saddle

This is the second one I've bought in 6 months. It has a specific contour that keeps you in the saddle, not in the saddle. It requires you to set it up properly in order to work properly. The nose is a few degrees, or about an inch, higher than the tail. You know it's right when you don't feel like you're slipping forward. (play with it) 2. The height should be adjusted so that you are not too low or too high. It's about right if you almost straighten your leg at the bottom of pedal travel, but don't "grab" the pedal. The stretch will create forward pressure on the "seat" of your body. Too low and you'll feel like you're pushing off the edge of the saddle. I'm 225 pounds and my weight doesn't compress the saddle springs very much, just enough for the saddle to rock back and forth when you pedal. so the saddle moves with me and not against me. hard springs. This saddle comes with a seatpost adapter that adapts to a straight seatpost. On my last one, however, the adapter was installed the wrong way round. The correct and typical orientation is the screw behind the seatpost after assembly to the seatpost. I slide the saddle all the way back on the rails, but it can be adjusted forward 2-3 inches. The seatpost adapter bolts forward of the seatpost only when you want the extra forward adjustment to get you closer to the handlebars. If your bike has a seatpost with an integrated clamp, just use the one that comes with the kit. This saddle has strong side material to prevent breakage when leaning against a building or something or tipping over. Not every saddle fits every body and the style of the seat also plays an important role in comfort. Designed for upright riding, this saddle is also great for tricycles or adult tricycles. I have many bikes and most of my other saddles are made by Brooks and are full grain leather. It's running Sun Cloud Nine. Very good for me on an electric cargo bike where weight is not an issue but comfort is. It sits like a cruiser with wide handlebars in the back and I sit upright. [It can also be adjusted and tilted to work on a forward curve bike if you want to push something against it, such as B. the Easy Racers Sunray SX from Sun Bicycles. or the Day 6 Comfort bike, it has a moderate tail lift and you can swap out that saddle for a stock one if you don't need/like/want a backrest and can't or don't want to find a replacement]
