Review on 🐠 Tetra Whisper In-Tank Aquarium Filter with Air Pump - Effective Internal Filtration by Stacy Edwards

At the end of November I received another aquarium filter (Tetra Whisper Filter) because the other one was difficult to keep clean. This one did a great job of keeping my daughter's betta tank clean. However, today the fish got caught at the bottom of the Tetra Whisper filter where the fan spins. The back of his fin got stuck there and he struggled to get out. I immediately turned off the filter to stop the fan at the bottom and released it. He could no longer swim as usual, but only sideways. He expended so much energy trying to get out and sustained such severe injuries that he died from his injuries less than 3 hours later. Of course you can say it's just a fish and that's ok, but they didn't have to explain to a 7 year old kid that their fish is no longer with us. Now I have to get another Betta fish but I can't get another one of these filters. I'm only posting this to try and save another family from losing a pet. Pictured is our injured fish which died in less than 3 hours. He could only swim sideways. The discolored part of its fin is where it was sucked in and got stuck.
