The instrument itself is of good quality. No complaints. However, when I ordered this tool, this was my first time building a 'proper' skateboard (mini logo deck and Thunder trucks) and I really didn't understand the difference between these 'Y' shaped tools. , and tools with an elongated metal rod. As far as I can tell, the "Y" shaped tools are essentially the same, but allow for slightly more holding torque (making it easier to tighten the dolly to the board). But in that regard, this tool was good. My problem was that this tool (and probably many similar tools) for the outer nuts (closest to the nose and tail) on my Thunder 147 trucks were too thick on the shank to sit perfectly vertically on the nut. I was still able to tighten everything without damaging the nuts, but I had to be very careful. If I were to order another tool I would order it with an extended metal shaft without the plastic sheath. Anyway, I have a lot of regular wrenches, so I'll probably just leave this as a handy backup. It's *smaller* and more comfortable to wear than the longer ones. So I hope this review is helpful for other people on a budget who are buying their first skateboarding tool.
