I work in a gym and we use Hamster IV to sign our clients in and they scan their finger instead of a membership card every time they come in to have. I estimate 40-50% of our customers will get it up and running correctly and quickly. In most cases, however, the scanner can take more than 45 seconds to recognize the fingerprint and often does not find a match, leading to customer frustration. Tried 5 or 6 times and often still doesn't find a match. When we are busy this results in a line of people waiting for a fingerscan to come in!
