Review on Tulip Company Etimo Crochet 4 5Mm by Doris Tran

For a specific project I needed a good quality 4.5mm hook that wouldn't hurt my hands. I crochet royal capes for little girls so I knit a lot and my hands hurt using the bamboo crochet hook I had. 4.5mm is hard to come by and the more expensive the hook the better. I paid about $9 for this hook from Amazon. The metal portion of this hook slides easily and is coated with something other than Boye hooks. Not all metal hooks are created equal and treat yarn differently. I also like the metal hooks by Susan Bates, but I don't give them a 4.5. So I tried this brand and pink is always good as it's easily recognizable in my hook collection. For everyday projects I only use the soft feel of clover, these are amazing hooks. Tulip is the brand I would use if I don't like the soft touch of clover. Definitely Soft Touch Tulip and Clover are the best hooks I have ever used. I love this hook. Makes my hands happy.
