I use this to work with tiny PCBs with SMD parts. It's perfectly acceptable for this purpose, however the screen could be brighter and colors will become a bit washed out with more gain or brightness. Functionally it works, and the 7-inch screen is less easy on the eyes than the smaller screen. Higher gain (or magnification) requires the optics to be very close to the subject and this makes it very difficult to work on anything with the revolver so close to the board. Overall I would rate this 3.5 out of 5. It does what I need. it is, but it could be better.
