Review on πŸ”¨ Aliglow Steel Meat Tenderizer Hammer Tool for Steak, Beef, and Poultry Tenderizing by Jessica Holmes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great meat tenderizer, flat side required.

I bought this to batter pork chops for breading and frying. It is very important that they are all the same thickness for even cooking. Other options with small blades that penetrate the meat are probably good for direct tenderizing but don't help reduce thickness, which was the second feature I needed. The weight is good and helps you get the job done better with less effort. The material on the handle gives a good grip when swinging the hammer around my kitchen lol. I give it 4 stars because it has big and small bumps on both sides, but I wish it had a flat side. I like making carpaccio (rarely) and I need something with a flat end, but I didn't think of that. I deal with this by using a cutting board that can be tapped to ensure even and consistent pressure. For the price this is a good option.
