Keep in good working order - regular maintenance
I have used Oreck vacuums for many years and love them. They are lightweight and will last for years. Over time, the belts will loosen and the pulleys will wear out. This is a very inexpensive way to refresh your vacuum and get it running again. If you live in a family with long hair, remember to clip your hair from the curler from time to time, otherwise it will burn out. Simply take a pair of scissors, trim the hair around the roller (particularly at the ends where the rotating bearings are) and remove the hair. So your vacuum cleaner will work well for many years.
