Not for dogs over 10 pounds.

I bought this car seat in June when my dog was a few months old. It worked flawlessly and was very easy to install. It was ok when he was little but at 10 pounds and growing he was getting too small for him. The tied rope was long enough to jump out of, and then he felt uncomfortable trying to get out of it. If you have a small dog this is ideal but it is too small for a 15lb spaniel. It was an educational experience. I would definitely buy it in a size larger. This is a quality dog car seat, just consider your dog's size.
