I bought these for my daughter who lives alone in a big city as she rents an apartment she is not allowed to drill holes on the outside of the door frame so I have one of the cameras it attaches velcro and you don't even notice it...they aren't real cameras but as soon as you put a battery in. The light is blinking, it's hard to tell if it's real or not. This makes her feel safe. Also, we bought a steel pool to put under her doorknob from the inside as she is not allowed to put extra locks... the pool prevents anyone outside turning the handle on her door to enter. you can never be too sure
