I bought a good quality Dewalt laminate cutter many years ago which was used very little at first and has stood for years after I stopped making counters. I wanted a compact router and a "showcase" for when the lights went out on my unused trimmer. First I looked for a base for the model # router motor but due to the age I couldn't find anything. I've looked at many swap bases and this Dewalt replacement has proven to be the best in terms of price and range. I had to drill and countersink new holes in this base to install it on my tool, but it was a simple task and within minutes the tool, unused for years, was converted into a new high quality compact router.
