This product arrived fine and well packaged. I don't understand why Dewalt doesn't supply a centering piece with a router. Now I have to wait for it to arrive to use it properly. It was necessary to look at other offers that included a kit. But with no prior experience, who would know until you take them off it's necessary.

Replaced half square base plate which DW supplies standard with the DWP611 portable milling machine. Difference in shape , hole in This pad is ideal for the Whiteside Guide Tab (Whiteside 9500 Solid Brass Tab Set), another plus for me is more freedom to use with a ruler, no need to keep track of alignment.

I got this stand for my compact DWP611 router so I can use the standard fixed base template guides. I also have a snap-in base and it's already set up to use the template guides. I did cut the door hinges and slots though and it was a lot easier with the fixed base than the plunge base as the depth of cut never changed. This socket should come standard with the DWP611 router.
