I broke the key on my last bike lock when I was in 2 states from a spare key. I ordered this lock to replace a lock that I had to cut off and I was very happy to receive this product. I no longer have to worry about the key and the lock is still very secure. I live on the Canadian border and winter came a little earlier this year so the bike was locked outside during a couple of snow storms before I could put it away. After a minute or two the lock was thawed and I was able to pick it up easily. That's more than can be said for the few locks I've used in the past. I was very impressed with this lock and am sure I will keep my bike locked in the metro area for a long time.
