Review on 📀 Renewed SONY DVPSR510H DVD Player with 6ft High Speed HDMI Cable - Enhanced Entertainment Experience by Curtis Richardson

This is a basic DVD player with HDMI output. The build quality is what you would expect for the price. The picture quality is high. What struck me was the archaic user interface. I'm fairly familiar with the various user interfaces of electronic devices and I'll admit that I had to go to the reference manual to figure things out. The user interface is the same as the first generation DVD products over 20 years ago. However, there are only a few DVD-only players left (most also support Bluray). This was for my elderly parents who didn't have a need for Bluray, so I didn't see a need to pay extra $$$ for a Bluray player they wouldn't use. The first DVD player I bought was from a local pharmacy and lasted every three or four months with very infrequent use before breaking. I hope we still serve him. I bought this device because it included an HDMI cable. The fact that it was updated didn't matter - practically speaking it was brand new (maybe a few scuffs on the front if I look closely and try to find them). I perhaps found undeserved solace in the fact that it's a well-known brand I've heard of, Sony, and no other brand, although I suppose they're all probably made in the same place.
