It was exactly what I was looking for. My old Wii drive was very noisy and would no longer accept discs. This drive is as quiet as you could ask for! (obviously still noisy but not "clicky" like my old worn out drive). And this particular model also works with Gamecube discs! I was surprised because most of these drives say they don't support them - I can't guarantee you that either, but (after a day of testing) mine works great! Installation was pretty easy too (assuming you have the instructions and the right screwdrivers). Highly recommend if you have an old/worn Wii.
