Flashed and fried my M.2 and MoBo

Disc came in a thin bubble wrap. I didn't notice the crushed open circuits until I placed it on my surface, it sparked and fried both the M.2 drive and my Surface Pro 4. I'm sure it worked fine, but get an adapter with a screen around it and save yourself replacing all your hardware.
