I'm shocked that this thing works the way it does. Bought it and it sat still for a while because I thought it was stupid. I've finally started using it and I'm pleasantly surprised. I do feel it takes a little while to get up to temperature but it definitely keeps my drink hot. I keep it at an average level. It's nice to keep your drink in a mug instead of using a travel mug on my desk. I'm still cautious about security. I turn it off when I'm not actively using it. There may be better ones, but this one works. This is the only one I've tried. I've been using it almost every day for a few months. I'm happy with that.
