My biggest pro for this product is that it is a good case to keep all my notions and hooks, but i feel that over time I will replace most if its contents. The ruler works well as a ruler, but i would suggest investing in something else to measure the gauge of your hooks or needles, the markings are very unclear. The hooks themselves do not fit into the proper slots of any gauge finder I have, so wright down what size each color is because they may come to you with the size already half rubbed off. They are smooth and easy to use though.The row counter is useless for anything over 9 rows because one side is upside down so good luck knowing if your on row 86 or 98. Some stitch markers may snag your yarn but are fairly useful. The scissors work well on worsted 4 yarn but struggle a bit on 6 super bulky. The needle covers aren't worth the space they take up in the bag. I tried both sizes on my us 13 needles and neither would stay on.
