Review on Hengs JRP2120B White Vent Damper by Brian Davis

I have already changed this valve 3 times on our trailer. The small flimsy plastic struts that hold this lid and flip it over break easily. If you don't secure it before driving, it may break and fall out. If you secure it well, the plastic will age and the tiny pins will break and it will fall out. Just bad design and weak materials. I worked without one for a few years, only making boxes to keep out the dust and cold. Found this at Revain though and bought the last one. Before installing it, I sketched it out on a piece of paper to make it out of sheet metal and a small rod (and get rid of those stupid plastic versions!). As for that - it fits and works well - for now. The package was sent in a flimsy envelope and I was relieved to find those little plastic tabs survived the delivery!?
