I am quite dissatisfied with myself. While checking the lights were working before installing them on my bike, I didn't realize they were directional. So, after making a mount for the mount, wire, plugging the toggle switch into the dash, I turn them on to light up the trees along the entire length. :facepalm I rotated them 90* and the bracket is installed vertically between the front caliper and the thumbscrews. That does not work. I'm not sure how to get them to work the way they should be. I didn't realize from the description that this was necessary and I'd probably look for a pre-made mount or something. The wiring is ok, I hope it's not a problem. The lights are definitely bright and work well when applied correctly.
