I have a 1997 Mazda Protege DX with radio, I am restoring it because it was my mother in law's car and she died about a year ago and I will be restoring it and giving it to one of the kids while i installed some hidden ballasted led headlights, after i did that i could almost only catch a few radios due to all the interference when the light was on i installed them in series between the led ballast in the headlights, about 90 % of the static was gone and I was able to pick up my radios.
