Easy installation. Better than the original, suitable for large marine igloo refrigerators. I bought replacement valve gates which were a lot more expensive and lasted about 1 month. They are cheaper and work well. They don't come with screws. I do not recommend using the current screws when replacing a latch needle. They will be too short. I used 1.5 inch screws. I installed the latch, inserted the round part of the hook, pulled it down a bit to make it snug, inserted the screw, marked the spot for the screw, lifted the latch, tightened the screw before removing the round hook installed. Part seems to be holding up well.
