Great purple snaps! for golf cart accessories

The latch on my outboard motor is broken like most motors from the 80's so I was looking for a simple solution to keep it securely closed and it worked! They seem sturdy and we are exactly what I was looking for. I see them being used for multiple solutions.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Can't remember

Upgrading an old cooler

Bought these to fit my fishing coolers that never had anything to keep them properly closed. The radiator cap is now tightly closed and does not open every time I hit a wave at high speed. Nothing to say, works as advertised and definitely improved my old Igloo cooler.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

Powered by ozark Trail Fridge

T-handle is slightly smaller (replaced on the right) than the original (left) and the rubber is slightly softer than the original. It works as intended. I kept the original plastic and only used the rubber part. I only needed it because my dog ate the original. No problem.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

Flex-T latches are the best in the sport

I bought this latch because the cooler I bought on the back of my $700 water bike had the worst design for the money. It opened up every time I jumped on the waves. So I bought T-bars to solve the problem I was having. They were easy to install and worked great to fix the problem I was having. I recommend them to anyone having trouble locking the coolers. Very durable and well made. Happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Easy installation on Sport

Easy installation. Better than the original, suitable for large marine igloo refrigerators. I bought replacement valve gates which were a lot more expensive and lasted about 1 month. They are cheaper and work well. They don't come with screws. I do not recommend using the current screws when replacing a latch needle. They will be too short. I used 1.5 inch screws. I installed the latch, inserted the round part of the hook, pulled it down a bit to make it snug, inserted the screw, marked the…

Take it, they're worth it

They're good for the price. Fasteners are not included. You must provide your own mounts for each specific application. When I compare them to the snaps on some of my coolers of this type, I see a difference in quality. They are slightly smaller/less fleshy. The plastic seems cheaper. Also, the rubber on them seems a bit stiff. So yes. Overall they work and are good for the price, but they seem a bit cheap to me. This is a cool latch style. There are many uses for them. With a little creativity

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Nothing

Exactly what my old boat needs.

I was reluctant to replace the chrome metal sunroof and door latches on my 18" Wellcraft center console that were corroded with flexible rubber latches, so I ordered two and tried them out. First I installed T-bars to hold the manhole covers on the boat. The product solved my problem in two ways. Initially, the latches were so easy to assemble with stainless steel screws that I bought them separately at my local hardware store. Second, the clasps are easy to use and soft enough not to hurt the…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No automatic

Store a detachable wooden seat for a small boat.

I needed something that would keep a custom wooden (ipe) seat crossboard from rattling in rough seas on a vintage 13 foot Boston Whaler. The top tab attaches under each side of the seat (2 pan head screws @ @ SS) and the latch attaches to the bottom inside of the body on the left and right side of the seat support rails built into the body. To mount the latch on the inside of the case two holes need to be drilled, a pilot hole for the stainless steel pan head screw and a slightly larger blind…
