I bought these because they are basically disposable bulbs - they're cheap enough that I don't get upset if I accidentally leave them on my bike and they get stolen, so I can stock up on spares keep my desk and backpack . You get what you pay for - they have some issues but are perfectly usable in most conditions. I will continue to buy them until I am responsible enough to take care of good lighting. Pros: - Both lights have mounting brackets and in theory you can attach and detach the lights to the brackets so you can take them with you when you lock your bike. This works well for the front light and also means I can buy a couple of light kits that use the same mounting platform so I can carry spares around. AAA batteries means refillable batteries are ok. Works well Cons: - The backlight doesn't slide off the mounting platform like it should, but that's only half the downside as it also means it's stuck there so well that no one would try to steal it. - Battery The front light pack fits oddly - I had to throw one away when the battery got stuck in it and wouldn't come out no matter how hard I banged it against the stand. - Flashlights are for visibility only, not for illumination.
