I've tried everything! In the almost 5 years since purchasing my home I have tried everything that has ever been recommended to remove the horribly unsightly hard water ring in my 2 toilets. Comet/Ajax and elbow grease, pumice stone, BarKeepers Friend (recommended by my plumber), and even fine grit sandpaper didn't help remove the stain. Til today! Somewhere it was recommended to use the BarKeepers Friend in Paste and work in small circles, use the 3M Fine Grinding Screen. I figured I had nothing to lose but the money I spent on the product. IT WORKS OUT! Yes, it requires extra elbow sliding and small circles aren't always easy to do at certain angles, but you'll get rid of that hard water stain. ! (FWIW, I actually found circles to be the most effective move.) Money well spent!
