I received at least the specified weight in grams. Outside, the clay is blue-black and crispy, smoked, with a pleasant aftertaste of mud and rain. But inside, many of the other parts are light gray and have the smell/taste of corrosive oil/gasoline or some other chemical substance. The gray bits over time (I poked around in them when I found out they were awful and had to spit them out/rinse my mouth out) contaminated the crispy blue-black fried bits so I had to throw out any good bits of clay. Overall not worth a repeat purchase. I don't know if it's a mixed tone or unevenly toasted, but to me it's not.
