Review on SUNLU PETG Filament 1 Additive Manufacturing Products in 3D Printing Supplies by Hikeboy Ramey

Buy PETG from another company.

So I will not buy again and neither should you. I started by drying the floss for over 12 hours, although the packaging was tightly sealed I just wanted to make sure it was dry. I kept getting bulkier as I extruded, which eventually turned into a jam. I adjusted the settings and printed the last 4 days in a row. I was finally able to get a complete expression, but I can't resolve the large number of rows. Just to check some of the settings I went through and I tried to print a lot more than what is pictured. I tried the following nozzle temperature: 215-255 Fan speed: 0-50% Retraction distance: 2-6mm Retraction speed: 20-45mm Cleaning options: 0-0.5mm Print speed 20-80mm, the print speed was prone to failure. If I were to print at other settings above 25mm I would get under extrusion and clog. I'm not sure what happened to this thread but if you read the other reviews it seems like a lot of people have suffered from similar issues, although I'm not sure I've had patients that endure as much ordeal had to go through like I have. did. I used some sort of hatchbox PETG that I had on the printer and it went through with my default settings at first. So there's no problem with my printer or my settings, it's just that this material is extremely difficult to process and I have to commit to a print speed of 25mm for even the simplest of prints. I'll pass. In that sense, I really like SunLu. for their PLA. However, I'm having a hard time passing the PETG test.
