This watercolor paper is specially glued on all four sides which seems to be a plus for those using the wet watercolor technique. The problem is that the adhesive is so thick and hard that it's impossible to remove the page without tearing it. acto-knife) and circle it on all sides. Strathmore has a video that also recommends this method. I still couldn't remove the sheet without tearing it. My guess is that an excess of glue may have been applied because it was impossible to tell where the separation of the sheets was and also because the glue seemed to flow between the sheets to some degree. The Strathmore 400 series 9x12 size doesn't seem to fit. overlay glued on one side, just this block or this spiral, I don't want anything. I'll try Zencolor paper next. It clearly states that it's only attached to one short side, making it easy to remove (I use a drier gouache technique, so paper tension isn't an issue for me). I've read that Zencolor is just as good. or better than Strathmore and appears to be significantly cheaper.
