Review on Stay Safe at Night with Elasta Cat Reflective Safety Stretch Collar by Adina Jordan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best cat collar bang for your buck and most importantly, safety!

Advantages: Stretchy, comfortable, thinner than most cat collars, adjustable, durable ring with name tag, strong buckle, amazing price. Cons: I didn't find any, this is by far my favorite cat collar! I have feral rescue cats that I care for, as well as indoor and outdoor cats. They will all be microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Just so I know what happens if one of them disappears. But even if they are chipped, collars are very important! Animal Control can see that the cat is not a stray, domesticated, or cared for. That means if there is an injured cat without a chip or tag, they will try to find owners instead of just taking them to a shelter for a few days. These collars are very flexible, highly elastic and reflective. Humans can see cats being "owned" and cared for, both remotely and outdoors, giving them time to slow down. I can leave these collars a little tighter than regular collars because they are comfortable. , thinner and expands. easily slides over the cat's head when caught by a fence, bush, another cat, etc. I've found that a more comfortable, stretchy collar allows me to hold on to collars longer than regular nylon collars. We all know how expensive cat collars are! The longer I can keep them, the better! This is easily adjustable. There are no holes here, so just slide the buckle between the fibers and it stays in place. It's easy to determine the size of large or small cats. (I have an 18lb Snowshoe Siamese and a 5lb shorty, so I like being able to buy one collar that fits both.) If it's too long, I can cut off the end and burn it with a lighter , so that there is no flap in the way. The name tag ring is durable as is the buckle which is a must have. I always add a tag with just my name and phone number so I can reuse the tags and people will call me and say they found the collar. so that helps! so tight and inseparable that a cat can resist and injure itself trying to free itself. I like that it doesn't have a call because I don't want predators to be able to hear, find and chase my cats easily. I have coyotes so I want my kitties to be able to hide and not hear the chime signaling where they are every time they move. I LOVE these collars and never use any other. Stretch collars are hard to find these days, especially with all the shiny collars and prints/designs you can find. But they are not as secure and durable as these elastic ones. Hope this helps everyone! :-) Save on computer! ^.^
