Mica powders work great with epoxy. Gives a beautiful pearlescent shimmer effect. The colors are great too. This is my first purchase of this type of product so I'm not 100% sure this is a great deal in comparison but I think it's a great deal. For the price you get a decent amount of powder in a good range of colours. The only two things I wish they were different/better are 1) the colors aren't labeled so you're just guessing. Luckily, when mixed with resin, it looks mostly how you envision it. And I could mix and match to create my own colors on the fly. 2) Getting a chart or idea of how much to use would be great. but I think since it can be mixed with so many different things the amount needed will vary based on usage. I'm still not 100% sure about the exact ratio. it's just based on feeling. knowing that you can't take what you mix, but you can always add more. So it's better to have a lighter touch and add more if needed. All in all a great product. I also created my own "colors" by mixing powders with some sort of modpod. It worked great and kept the natural colors. This was exactly what I was looking for as a beginner with epoxy.
