Inexpensive and ideal for buying in bulk. Unlike Prime or other more expensive conditioners, this conditioner simply gets the job done by removing chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals and helping get rid of fish slime. Easy. I've read a lot of people's 1 star reviews and I don't know why exactly they are there, but I can almost assure you that the air conditioning wasn't the culprit unless it was some weird accident. It's just a sodium-based dechlorinator and it does the job perfectly. With sick/dead fish, there are many other factors to consider. Water hardness, nitrogen levels (nitrates and nitrites), ammonia levels, pH, temperature, oxygen levels, water flow, adequate shelter, stress from people/things outside the tank, and the size of the tank are factors. Anyone who uses conditioners correctly and has made sure that all other parameters are taken into account will be able to use this conditioner without any additional effort. So, in conclusion, do your research before you buy fish and have a suitable conditioner ready, well it will condition the water, no problem. no matter)
