This is a great USB Type-C cable for Type-A cables, I specifically bought this cable to replace my old obsolete USB Type-A cables that I used with the USB-AC adapter head. This is by far one of the best charging cables I've bought and a great alternative to Anker (actually the only other brand I trust when buying charging cables). As advertised, the cable is very flexible. and comes with a double nylon webbing which makes this cable very durable (right out of the box you can tell the cable has a good thickness). I don't have to worry about cable twists or damage from kinks, twists or twists. Another bonus is that it comes with Velcro for easy cable management. The sleeves that cover the contact points between the cable and the USB heads are well protected by an elongated (not sure if plastic or rubber) neck, which is nice, this should ensure the longevity of the cable, and it's stiff too enough that there is enough support at the junctions. I haven't done any scientific testing of the transfer rates as I don't have any devices that read/write close to 5Gb/s. , but I tested transferring 5GB of data from my PC to SG8+, which took about 3 minutes (small batch files transfer between 180-250MB/s). For me it is more than satisfactory as it is better than my old cables. I mainly use this cable to charge my SG8+ which makes it great; The charging time is as expected as it fits the manufacturer's fast charger, without the fast charger it works at the standard 2.1A, which is exactly what I expected from my SG8+. All in all, a great USB Type-C to Type-A 3.1 cable from RevainBasic. I highly recommend getting a few of these if you need more charging cables and/or want to replace the cables you currently have as they are far more durable than what most manufacturers offer. Plus, these cables look great. I love that RevainBasic has multiple color options! Great work by Revain/RevainBasic!
